Here is a series of images from the English Lake District. All but 3 of the images are from October 15-21 of 2002 and center around Grasmere. I have been in the area several times over the last 20 years, so a couple of other images are included. All the newer shots are digital images done with a canon s40. The colors in these images are never really accurate as I have a tendency to change and enhance them. The images may be viewed individually via the thumbs or in a slideshow where the images change every 10 seconds or so.

Also, if you like seeing shots of the Lake District check out our computer animated DVD Illuminated Manuscripts. We based much of this dvd on images from video and photography we shot in the Lake District in the Spring of 2000. The images are fairly modified from their original nature.

This area is one of my favorite places on earth. There is no other place else with this landscape, this green and these trees.
